The Ship, Tuesday 8th August

Friend was in the neighbourhood so the four of us popped out for a drink, meal and chat at The Ship at Ashford Hill.

Shame the beer was off, we had to make do with the Gales "keg" beer, which to give it its due, was reasonable. The food was the usual, Ok, not Egon Ronay, but it's good, plain pub grub; plenty of it and cheap, e.g. my chilli was £4.50

So on my pub scale, it's a 8/10
